What are the types of apartments that you want to rent?
The short answer is that there are no hard and fast rules.
It’s a subjective thing, but one thing you can be certain of is that the type of apartment that you rent will have a lot of attributes that go hand in hand with the types and amount of money you are looking to spend.
But let’s take a look at some of the main characteristics of a typical apartment building.
What are some of these?
First and foremost is the size.
According to a recent report by the National Association of Realtors, apartment buildings can be up to 40% larger than a typical office building.
For example, a studio apartment at one of the city’s priciest neighborhoods might have a size of 8,200 square feet, while a smaller apartment might have dimensions of around 1,800 square feet.
That means that a small studio apartment in a neighborhood with very expensive properties might have an interior space of more than 2,200 sq. ft. (1,300 sq. m.).
This can lead to some major issues in terms of space, as the apartments can be large or small, and depending on the size of the building you can find that a lot can be spent on amenities that are very much in line with your needs.
For instance, there are often amenities that you can rent such as a bar, gym, and fitness center, but for a more modest apartment in an affluent neighborhood, it may be more appropriate to rent a private room with a private shower and/or private kitchen.
Another area that can make a big difference is the price.
In most cases, the apartments are usually located on the higher end of the market, and you may need to pay significantly more to rent the apartment that is larger.
For the most part, these apartments will cost about $5,000 to $10,000 more than a similar studio apartment on the same floor.
